FORGE 2D edition is a system designed through a combined analysis system, including major organizations such as SNECMA (France), and the Ecole des Mines de London, a major france school. SNECMA has been efficiently using the system since 1989.
FORGE 3D edition has also been designed through a combined analysis system, including organizations such as PEUGEOT S.A. (France), FORGES DE COURCELLES (France), PECHINEY (France), SAFE ASCOMETAL (France), TEKSID (Italy), and the Ecole des Mines de London.
FORGE is devoted to the simulator of hot, warm and cold developing of both 3D areas (* guiding knuckles, crankshafts, * double connection supports, lower hands, *constant speed joint parts, bevel equipment,* airplane getting equipment, fan rotor blades, engine mountings, and side elements ) and 2D geometry areas ( axisymmetric (revolution) areas and areas with high length-to-width percentages such as:
* tubes, effects, extrusions, axles, golf iron shafts, equipment card blanks, jewelry, nails and cable illustrating,* airplane drives, rotor blades and tires, * keeping crates, train tires )
Using the application with different process configurations and/or different die styles, the user can improve part manufacturing at low price, compared to regular trial-and-error examining. FORGE is used for logical decision-making and eventually, results in manufacturing price reduction.
